1. Planning your Holidays’ Gift Giving Ideas
When planning your gift-giving ideas, choose different price points to accommodate everyone’s budget. You want low, medium, and high price points. Run reports to determine what price points sold well the previous year, raise them some, and improve upon them.
Select medspa gift items that could be enjoyed by the majority of consumers. Offer options for both females and males. Select fun products, skin care products, body products accessories, candles, skincare, etc. Get creative, and involve your providers in creating fun and enticing anti aging gift packages. Your team is more likely to promote and sell them when they are part of the planning process. Remember to pre-wrap some gifts, so they are ready to be purchased quickly.
2. Gift Card & Retail Combination
Med Spa Gift Card sales are always a big hit during the holidays, but here is a tip on how to maximize your gift card sales. Don’t sell gift cards alone. Create three packages of gift cards and include product/retail gifts within each one. So instead of someone just buying a gift card, they are able to buy a gift and also a gift card.
Create marketing material featuring 3 or 4 packages, and make sure they are at different price points. Display the gifts in a prominent area within the medical spa to attract attention and make people aware of the gift ideas you have for them. This really works! You can increase your gift card sales tremendously.
3. Festive Decorations
Make your medical spa festive, but remember less is more, keep it simple. Include your products within the decorations. Display beautifully wrapped packages with ribbons, especially in the gift card area. Have fun and get creative! Also, remember to decorate your online platforms. Put people in the buying spirit and they will purchase from you!
4. Profitable Holiday Event
Hosting an event is a great way to thank all your clients, gain new ones and generate revenue at the same time! Planning a holiday party should involve the whole team. We go into depth about events in a program we offer, but to summarize, start with a great invitation, barter all your food and drinks, and decide which treatments you want to feature in each treatment room. Most importantly, set a target as to how much revenue you want to generate from the event. The most effective strategy we teach is to give each guest when they walk in “medspa dollars” that are good only during the event. Spa dollars should have a call-to-action asking the guest to purchase gift cards.
For example, they can purchase a $1000 gift card and receive $100 for free. You can have all sorts of amounts on the medspa dollars. The bigger the amount they purchase, the bigger the free offer is. They will be able to use these gift cards toward any medical aesthetic treatments or give them as gifts. Also, you may want to have the team wear some festive ware to create more excitement with their clients and entice holiday sales.
