“What else can I offer in my boutique that’s fun
and exciting to increase retail sales?”

There are several things you can offer in your boutique. Especially if it’s truly a boutique. Some people get stuck on just skincare products and more skincare products and more skincare products. You want to be able to offer things that will continue that nice experience at home. For example, this candle. I got this as a gift… But they have to be nice and good quality candles. I got this from one of my clients and friend Maciek, founder of Spa Mariana in Birmingham, Michigan.

When he gave it to me, I just could not wait to actually light it and use it. This is like the best candle I have ever had. And they’re not paying me any money to say this. I’m just letting you know, because it’s just absolutely amazing. The packaging is phenomenal. It’s very heavy. It has a lid on it with the name of it, which is AQ. This is the box that it actually came in, and it’s just absolutely beautiful packaging.

Now this is not a cheap candle. I believe it sells for 50 some dollars in the spa. But it’s a very good quality. It smells beautiful. And you’ll be able to open up an account with them and sell these candles. So, this would be a great addition to your boutique to differentiate yourself and offer something that’s very nice and unique. AQ actually stands for Aquiesse. I want to encourage you to go and try it. My favorite is called Moonlit Petals. And it just smells absolutely gorgeous. I live in a condo on the beach and when I light it, it fills my entire condo with beautiful aroma. So, candles are definitely one option.

The other thing you can sell is branded items. It would be so good for you to have an entire section with all branded items in your boutique area. So, for example, we have the InSPAration logo on these bears that we give away. You can also do bags, recyclable bags and water bottles. You can do all sorts of things with your name on it so that way not only are they buying, but they’re also promoting your business.

You can do golf shirts. You can do bathrobes. The more things you have with your name, the more you are in their minds. You know what they say, “out of sight, out of mind.” So, these kind of things would be a wonderful addition to your boutique. And you can make them also seasonal, depending on the season. That way you can promote different things in addition to skincare.

So, I just wanted to give you a couple of ideas. Hope you go and check out the candles. There are all kinds of things you can do with your name on them. You can order them and start selling them in your boutique.
