“Do I Have to Pay My Medical Spa Team to Attend and Work Events?”

Thank you for your question.

Her question is, “Do I have to pay my team to attend and work events? And if so, how much?”

A lot of you have been doing events during the holiday season. So that’s a very good question and very appropriate timing.

If you are hosting an event, we definitely want every single team member to attend because you never have enough people to work an event. And if you use the Event Planning USB that we have, you know that you can have lots of sales and you can have lots of people if you follow that process.

Should we pay the team to attend?

Yes, you need to always pay the team their hourly rate because you can’t expect employees to come and work for free.

But the best thing you can do, and that goes for actually training, pay and event pay, you can have a different rate than they usually actually get paid. You can have an event rate and a training rate specifically for your team.

What I would also do for the events is generate a target for what you want to accomplish for the event, and then bonus them based on you reaching those targets.

So it would be a great idea for you to motivate the team, and get them excited about the opportunities that they have and why they should want to work the event. Not only do they get the bonus for productivity, but also those appointments are going to be coming in in the future and that’s going to benefit them as well.
