10 Important Reminders To Help You Succeed In 2014!



1.Set Your Goals. Napoleon Hill, the author of one of my favorite books, Think and Grow Rich, said, “A person without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.” You don’t want to live without defined goals. Write out short and long -term goals for your business and your personal life. Clarify your goals as much as possible. Then, create an action plan for each goal. Prioritize and start mapping out every goal by creating a list of things that you need to do, so you can begin taking action immediately!

2.Enroll in a Coaching program. Everyone needs a coach. Without a coach, you are not going to win a championship. You can belong to one of the CoachMe programs we offer so your business will grow and flourish. One of the best things about having a coach is the accountability they provide.

3.Get a Mentor. When you talk with any successful entrepreneur ask them how they became so successful. Most will tell you they had a great mentor. Whether this is a person you have to pay to speak with or someone who is willing to mentor you pro bono, either way, you should have a mentor.

4.Read Books & Articles and Listen to Business CDs. Continuing education will help you stay on the successful path. Turn your car into a university and listen to coaching CDs. Schedule some time each day to read rich business content. Sometimes all you need is one idea to grow into greater success.

5.Improve Your Time Management and Productivity. Many people don’t stay focused and don’t plan their Daily Tasks. If you want to be successful, you have to identify your Daily Tasks and stick to a Schedule. Don’t get trapped in unproductive work. Make a commitment to do at least one thing everyday to help your business grow!

6.Wake up Earlier. Get motivated and start early. Interruptions are a terrible thing, making you lose focus and delaying progress. When you wake up early, you can accomplish your most important tasks first thing in the morning. This practice will help you be more productive.

7.Plan Your Bucket List – Create a Vision Board. Why are you working so hard? I was at a seminar in Chicago last month and the instructor asked the group What Is Your Dream? Why are you working? What do you want? Create your Bucket List and put it on a Vision Board. Once you commit to it, you will be amazed how things will begin to turn into reality.

8.Chart a Timeline for What You Want to Accomplish. A dream or a wish list is just that unless you create an Action Plan with a Timeline. This will help you stay on track. Use a calendar and schedule all your spa business activities. You will be more likely to do what is on your schedule. Just like your spa clients, make appointments. You need to make appointments for things you want to accomplish and stick to them!

9.Script The Outcome in Advance. Create a Spa Success Business Journal to list your daily activity before the day starts. Script out all the outcomes you would like have. It is amazing what will happen when you detail the outcome. Script your outcome for the day, the week, the month, and the year. Continue scripting on regular basis. Focus on ALL positive outcomes as if they already took place!

10.Adopt a “Can Do” Mindset. Negativity kills your goals and your dreams. When you have a “Can Do” attitude and mindset, you can move mountains! Don’t let anyone rain on your parade or give you negative vibes. Walk away and choose to be part of a positive group who wants to succeed and move ahead in life. Choose your business peers and social contacts carefully. Be around people who are more successful than you! This will keep you motivated and you will learn from them.
