Have you hosted a spa event lately?  If not, you should!!!

 

I want to share with you a recent event hosted by one our clients, Mary @ Spa Royale Day Spa in Gainesville, Florida.

This was Mary’s first event, but it’s not going to be her last.  Yes, she was nervous and concerned, but she did not let that stop her.  I got to know Mary when she attended the Leadership Excellence seminar a couple of month ago in San Francisco. She has not stopped implementing all the new strategies she learned from Leadership Excellence since her return.   One of the things she decided to implement was hosting an event.  She decided to do a six year anniversary event.  What an event it turned out to be!  The event generated $8,000 in revenue in 3 hours!!!    I am so proud of what Mary and her team accomplished.  Yes, it took some planning… we used one of Mary’s coaching sessions to help her outline the event. We discussed and assigned crucial points and tasks, but all the planning and preparation paid off  BIG!!! 

You should host an event, especially with the Holidays coming up.  Plan one for November!!!  To help you plan, here is a quick list of things you will need to do.

  • Include your suppliers’ participation

  • Determine featured treatments you would like to promote
  • Prepare treatment rooms and product displays – need models for treatments
